Mental Performance

Training, not healthcare. Focus, confidence, routines, competing under pressure. No diagnosis, just performance.

For competitors doing the physical work whose mental side isn't keeping up

You're fine in practice and a different person in games. You're a step slow letting go of mistakes. Your confidence tracks your last result. You have a routine and it doesn't survive contact with a real crowd.

How it works

We build the mental side the way you'd build anything else in training: find where it's actually breaking down, pick the skills that address that, drill them, adjust.

  • Focus and composure under pressure

  • Confidence that isn't outcome-dependent

  • Self-talk you can use at game speed

  • Pre-performance and reset routines

  • Visualization and mental rehearsal

  • Motivation and goal clarity

Most of what I do follows the same pattern: find the root of the issue, get it into the open, build something that targets it, and find ways to make it yours and useful to you in different situations.

What this isn't

This is training, not healthcare. No diagnosis, and you don't need anything to be wrong to benefit.

I'm also a licensed psychologist, which matters here for one reason: if it becomes clear the performance problem has something heavier underneath it I can tell you, and we can address it without you starting over somewhere else. That's your call, not mine. More on integrated work →
